Kautilya Consultancy LLP was founded by professionals who were part of the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF), a prestigious public policy and governance program conducted by IIM Nagpur. As part of the fellowship, we worked closely with district administrations across India, helping implement government schemes, identify grassroots challenges, and support evidence-based decision-making at the local level. These years of immersive experience gave us a rare and holistic understanding of how policy and development work on the ground — beyond theory, beyond reports.
This lived experience inspired us to create a platform that could bring the same insights, empathy, and effectiveness to CSR, sustainability, and development strategy. We saw a gap between the intent of social impact programs and their execution in real-world scenarios. Kautilya Consultancy was established to bridge that gap — to help corporates, governments, and social organizations collaborate better, implement smarter, and build initiatives that create lasting, meaningful impact.
